Job summary

The ideal candidate holds CST or TS-C, BLS/CPR, a high school diploma or GED, and is willing to take call shifts. Experience preferred; location offers compassionate care and a strong teamwork culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technologist in Surgery-Certified (TS-C).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR.
• Must be able to take call shifts.
• Preferred: One year experience as an OR technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR, instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Pass instruments, anticipate needs, and maintain sterile field.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments; handle specimens.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfer; ensure safe setup.
• Maintain aseptic technique and report any breaches.
• Support OR quality initiatives and adherence to standards.
