Job summary

Aurora Health Care Metro, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare materials, assist with a variety of procedures, and maintain sterile technique to ensure patient safety.

You will set up OR rooms, operate equipment as needed, and collaborate with surgeons and nurses. The role requires strong attention to detail, stamina, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Ability to maintain sterile technique and assist with multiple procedures.
• Understanding of instrument handling and OR safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Utilize aseptic techniques and assist with complex cases when needed.
• Set up operating room for each case and operate equipment as required.
• Transport patients and/or equipment as directed.
• Maintain specialty carts and ensure equipment sterility and availability.
• Act as resource to Surgical Technologists and teach/mentor others.
