Aurora Health Care Central, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. You will prepare sterile fields, pass instruments, and assist in various procedures to support patient care.

Role requires knowledge of aseptic techniques, equipment handling, and strong customer service. Entry-level position with potential on-the-job training and adherence to hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
• No prior experience required (entry level).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months of hire.
• Annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient area for patient care.
• Assist in aseptic prep and passing of instruments.
• Prepare and drape surgical area and sterile field.
• Set up operating room equipment and move/return equipment post-procedure.
• Provide second assistant support as needed.
• Notify staff of equipment or supply problems.
• Position and transport patients as required.
• Follow age-specific care guidelines per department standards.
