Job summary

Mass General Brigham at Newton-Wellesley Hospital invites applications for a Surgical Technologist. This 36-hour weekly role operates on 3x12-hour shifts within the operating room team, supporting patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 2–3 years as surgical technologist in acute care required.
• 4+ years preferred with committee/leadership experience.
• Certifications preferred: CSFA (NBSTSA) or CST (NBSTSA).

Responsibilities

• Sets up operating room and prepares patients for surgery.
• Assists in passing instruments and supplies to surgeons.
• Maintains SPD Sterile Room knowledge.
• Participates as active member of Patient Care Team.
• Monitors OR conditions and patient needs.
