Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completely prepares sterile field in a timely manner and maintains sterile boundaries.
• Assists physician by sponging, suctioning, retracting, and cutting suture as required.
• Maintains instrument readiness and assists in opening sterile supplies.
• Participates in Time Out and ensures team agreement before proceeding.
• Maintains patient safety and compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintains on-call availability and supports emergency situations.
