Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist for the Day Surgery Center at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Scrub role duties: completely prepare sterile field and maintain it before/during procedures.
• Assist physician by sponging, suctioning, retracting, and cutting suture as instructed.
• Serve as a preceptor, sharing knowledge in a supportive/educational manner.
• Maintain on-call availability and participate in emergencies while prioritizing patient safety.
• Verify instrument/supply availability per physician preference card and assist with setup and cleanup.
