Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Anticipates surgeon needs and informs circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintains high standards for cost savings and containment.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and meds before procedures.
• Supports satisfaction efforts; maintains relationships with physicians and staff.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects any breaches.
• Reports environmental concerns and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Supervises other staff; participates in orientation and training.
• Promotes safe environment and responds to emergencies.
• Follows infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Contributes to performance improvement initiatives and quality standards.
• Provides assistance to surgical team as needed.
• Assists with OR turnover and directs ancillary personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
