Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant, Central Processing/Case Cart or other patient care experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Assist in lifting, positioning and transferring patients under RN supervision
• Prepare operating room turnover and ensure clean, stocked procedure rooms
• Deliver blood products, lab specimens and medications as assigned
• Retrieve items during procedures and communicate supply needs to the team
• Maintain infection control and safe environment throughout shifts
• Transport patients between units and care areas as needed
