Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Surgical Aide to assist nurses and physicians in the Operating Room, PACU, Same Day Surgery, and GI Services. You will help maintain a safe and efficient department, keeping areas, supplies, and equipment clean and orderly.

The role requires infection control knowledge, strong teamwork, and excellent communication. A current BLS certification is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: high school graduate or GED.
• Knowledge of infection control and proper body mechanics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in the Operating Room, PACU, Same Day Surgery, and GI Services.
