Qualifications

• United States Citizenship and English language proficiency required
• Graduate of nursing program approved by accrediting bodies (ACEN/CCNE)
• State license required upon appointment
• Foreign nursing education requires degree equivalency validation
• Active RN license in U.S. state or territory
• GNT exception available with temporary appointment while pursuing licensure

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily surgery schedule with surgical team and providers
• Assess and plan nursing care within the perioperative continuum
• Administer medications per policies and guidelines
• Provide leadership and coordinate patient education and self-management
• Duties include staffing assignments and ensuring timely preoperative testing and communication

Education

Graduate of a school of professional nursing
