Job summary

Diversity Group is seeking a Surgical Scheduler Registered Nurse to manage and optimize the daily surgery schedule in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff. The role requires RN licensure, strong English proficiency, and proven coordination skills across departments.

The incumbent will prioritize patient safety, coordinate with Sterile Processing for supplies, and work under the Perioperative Nurse Manager to ensure efficient OR utilization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with active RN license.
• Current U.S. license to practice professional nursing.
• English language proficiency for direct patient care as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Perioperative Nurse Manager.
• Coordinates internal and external phases of the Surgery Schedule daily.
• Reviews requests for surgery and allocates procedure times accordingly.
• Coordinates equipment and supplies with Sterile Processing.
• Ensures implants/prosthesis are ready for day of surgery.
• Collaborates with surgical team to optimize patient scheduling.
