Job summary

You will partner with Medical Assistants and Revenue Cycle Operations to obtain authorizations, notify patients of cost sharing, and ensure a safe, efficient patient experience from pre-operative orders through the procedure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinic and surgical scheduling workflows.
• Understanding of referrals, insurance processes, co-pays, and authorization procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all clinical and surgical encounters for patients.
• Serve as primary administrative contact for patients and families.
• Optimize provider schedules through template management.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants to ensure proper scheduling.
• Coordinate authorizations with Revenue Cycle Operations and notify about costs.
• Oversee scheduling from pre-operative orders to completion to prevent gaps and ensure safety.
