The incumbent will lead a team, verify benefits, obtain authorizations, provide financial counseling, and implement POS collections processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years in business operations, financial services, healthcare administration, or physician practice management.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding required.
• EPIC electronic health record system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, and preoperative workups.
• Ensure accurate verification of benefits and obtain required prior authorizations.
• Provide comprehensive financial counseling and establish payment plans.
• Maximize OR utilization by monitoring surgical calendars and coordinating with scheduling teams.
• Develop and monitor POS collections and prepayment processes.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, patients, payers, and leadership to coordinate care.
• Oversee front-office functions and clerical workflow; monitor queues and charge capture.
• Support staffing needs and cross-coverage across practices as required.
