Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of business/financial/physician practice experience required.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 coding preferred.
• Associate degree or higher may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations.
• Prepare and explain estimates for multiple services prior to service.
• Identify and collect prepayments and arrange payment plans.
• Provide in-depth financial counseling and education to patients.
• Coordinate scheduling and communicate with physicians, patients, and payors to ensure a smooth process.
