Responsabilidades

• Verify insurance coverage and benefits and obtain prior authorizations.
• Prepare, communicate and explain estimates for services prior to service.
• Identify and collect prepayments and provide financial counseling and payment plan establishment.
• Update demographic and financial data for UFHP and UF Health System.
• Independently maintain surgical calendars and maximize OR charges.
• Coordinate communication between physician, patient, and payor to ensure a smooth process.
• May float to other practices or work flex time as needed for staffing.
