Responsibilities include coordinating authorizations, communicating co‑pay information, and ensuring accurate documentation across scheduling and clinical systems throughout the pre‑op to post‑op process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of clinical scheduling or coordination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance processes, referrals, and authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinic and surgical appointments, referrals, and pre‑visit activities.
• Manage provider schedules and template adjustments to optimize throughput.
• Serve as primary liaison for patients, answering questions and communicating with the care team.
• Coordinate authorizations and inform patients of co‑pay and co‑insurance details.
• Track pre‑operative orders, labs, imaging, and consults required before surgery.
• Ensure documentation is accurate in scheduling and clinical systems.
