Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance knowledge and patient confidentiality responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and authorization for complex surgical procedures.
• Verify insurance coverage for surgeries and assess coverage nuances.
• Assess medical necessity for surgeries, appointments, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between surgeons, specialized departments, and hospital personnel.
• Maintain compliant documentation for proper reimbursement.
