Sutter Health in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Neurosurgery Scheduler III to maintain scheduling for surgical and specialized procedures within the department. This role coordinates with physicians' offices, verifies room and equipment availability, documents procedures, and may generate a surgical procedure charge sheet.

The position is hybrid—primarily on-site with limited remote options. Typical duties include scheduling surgeries, confirming times, entering data, coordinating authorizations

Competenze

• HS Diploma or GED required with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities for scheduling.
• Excellent Verbal and written communication with patients and staff.

Mansioni

• Schedules surgeries and specialized procedures per department protocols.
• Verifies room availability, equipment, and supply needs.
• Enters schedule data into the database and updates changes.
• Provides follow-up calls and reschedules when needed.
• Coordinates open clinic times when physicians have no surgical cases.
• Documents all procedures accurately per protocols.
• Ensures authorizations, insurance eligibility and referrals are in place.
• Facilitates transfers to appropriate services when needed.
• May support floating to related areas for coverage.
