Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program.
• Requires 5 years scheduling and clinical experience; ambulatory surgery scheduling preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Expertly schedules patients using Epic Optime and community hospital workflows.
• Supports Provider/Physician with patient encounter documentation.
• Trains and educates scheduling staff and other medical assistants.
