Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Surgical Scheduler II for Glenview, IL (with occasional travel to Skokie). This full-time role requires coordinating surgical schedules, ensuring accurate entries in Epic Optime, and maintaining smooth communication between OR staff and surgeons’ offices.

The position supports flexible hours and travel to other sites as needed. Associate’s degree preferred; Epic Optime/Cadence experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous experience in surgical scheduling or billing preferred.
• Epic Optime or Cadence experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical cases accurately in Epic Optime across Endeavor.
• Identify scheduling options and opportunities.
• Resolve/anticipate conflicts to ensure timely cases.
• Coordinate communication between OR staff and surgeon offices.
