Job summary

Providence is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage surgical procedure scheduling under the Clinic Manager/Supervisor. You will prepare clinical data for prior authorization requests and ensure accurate documentation of authorization status to keep the workflow moving smoothly.

In this role you’ll maintain logs, coordinate with care teams, and uphold Providence’s patient-focused approach, providing reliable support across departments to facilitate timely patient care.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• 1 year of experience with medical terminology, coding, and medical charting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures.
• Prepare clinical data for prior authorization submissions.
• Maintain logs and document the status of authorizations.
• Support the clinic manager/supervisor as needed.
