Qualifications

• Two years of medical registration, billing, scheduling, or insurance experience.

• Bilingual - Spanish speaking (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages provider’s surgery/hospital procedure schedules.
• Obtains authorization for surgeries/hospital procedures and verifies eligibility.
• Coordinates referrals for out-of-network care and pre-op testing requirements.
• Meets with pre-op patients to explain the surgery process and prerequisites.
• Documents and scans processes in patient charts and assists with cost estimations.
