Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of medical registration, billing, scheduling, or insurance experience.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and calendaring programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage provider surgery/hospital procedure schedules and follow-ups.
• Obtain authorizations and verify eligibility for surgeries.
• Coordinate pre-surgical requirements and iCentra FIN# creation.
• Coordinate with hospital staff on equipment and orders.
• Explain the process to patients, including pre-op labs/tests.
• Investigate billing disputes related to surgery/procedure.
