Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years' work experience in a customer service environment, preferably in hospital/physician office with high call volumes.
• Experience in maintaining and scheduling physician and testing services while ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Proficiency with Epic software and related scheduling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient throughput: obtain information from referring physicians and providers for third-party payers.
• Accurately sequences complex procedures across departments/locations.
• Support surgery scheduling and coordinate booking sheets and consents.
• Use Epic, OR at a Glance, and One Line Eligibility to schedule and update patient information.
• Maintain knowledge of the Epic system for scheduling time-sensitive appointments.
• Provide coverage to other outpatient service areas as needed to maintain operations.
• Deliver service excellence in line with organizational standards.
