Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience in a physician office, hospital, or health system preferred.
• Familiarity with call centers and appointment scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls and collect required information.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and exams; resolve conflicts per protocols.
• Greet callers, provide information, educate about prep, advise on referrals/authorizations.
• Verify patient information to ensure scheduling accuracy.
• Reschedule or cancel appointments and confirm changes.
• Use scheduling software to manage multiple appointments across modalities.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist others with department scheduling requirements.
