Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling clinics and operating rooms.
• Ability to coordinate pre-certification and authorization with payers.
• Strong documentation and communication with patients and staff.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar patient data systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule master clinic and OR calendars; monitor physician and staff schedules.
• Coordinate specialty clinics with clinic manager for staffing and processes.
• Schedule surgeries in ORs and treatment rooms; optimize OR time.
• Arrange pre-admission testing and pre/post-operative testing.
• Communicate upcoming procedures to patients, families, and providers.
• Coordinate pre-certification with third-party payers and social services as needed.
