Job summary

You will coordinate rescheduling and cancellations with departmental schedulers, manage equipment warranties and service contracts, and support FDA device-tracking audits to maintain accurate, compliant records and workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of office or clerical experience required, healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with hospital or medical scheduling systems, billing/charges, and data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee surgical block assignments and case scheduling across operating rooms.
• Coordinate scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations with departmental schedulers.
• Maintain surgical services equipment warranties and service contracts.
• Prepare and process PeopleSoft requisitions for orders and repairs.
• Support FDA device-tracking audits for Surgical Services compliance.
• Investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
