Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules all surgical procedures in the computer system.
• Ensures adequate time is allotted for each procedure and is aware of supply needs.
• Coordinates interdepartmental needs of scheduled cases, e.g. room availability.
• Enters patient charges in the computer system and reconciles charges within time frames.
• Maintains databases, spreadsheets, and project documents.
• Communicates scheduling changes to all involved parties.
• Prepares daily surgical schedule for distribution within established time frames.
