Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Nursing team within the Carolinas Hospitalist Group. The role supports hospitalists and Virtual Hospital Medicine teams with patient flow coordination, chart reviews, and collaboration with physicians.

You will work 24 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts two per week and remote options, with a requirement to live within an hour of Charlotte.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• RN license in the state where you practice
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
• 2 years of RN experience; triage and ED experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal medicine admissions for hospitalists; non-patient facing clinical role
• Perform intensive chart reviews and coordinate with physicians
• Communicate via secure chat groups for the Hospitalist Group and respond timely
