Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule elective surgeries in a computerized scheduling system.
• Verify physician privileges and obtain prior authorizations.
• Enter patient charges and orders; print physician orders and maintain schedules.
• Greet and direct patients, visitors, physicians, and families; act as liaison among staff.
• Maintain logs of physician privileges and staff rosters; manage staff call rosters.
• Enter lab, imaging, and cardiology orders; compile and report statistics for management.
• Handle charge management and ensure accuracy of billing documentation.
• Maintain a smooth workflow with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinic environment.
