Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Surgery Scheduler at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center to coordinate and schedule complex surgical procedures across clinic, OR, and ASC settings. You will manage calendars, obtain prior authorizations, and collaborate with providers, patients, and staff to ensure smooth case readiness.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational and communication skills, with at least 18 months in a healthcare setting, and familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 18 months of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule complex surgical procedures across clinic, OR, and ASC settings.
• Manage provider clinic, surgical, and procedural schedules with up-to-date calendars.
• Obtain and verify required prior authorizations, certifications, referrals, and insurance information before procedures.
