Capital Health is seeking a healthcare scheduling professional to coordinate cases with the OR and GI Endoscopy units, gather patient data, and manage pre-certifications. The role includes front-desk duties, registration, and chart management to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree or nursing education, possess an NJ/PA license or multi-state compact, and have 1 year of relevant experience with BLS certification.

Formación

• Associate’s degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• RN license (NJ or PA) based on location or multi-state compact license is required.
• AHA BLS – Healthcare Provider certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with OR and GI Endoscopy Unit to schedule cases and coordinate resources.
• Gathers complete patient and procedure information and schedules procedures and testing timely.
• Obtains pre-certification and authorizations from insurance carriers to facilitate utilization.
• Oversees registration and checkout process and the handling of medical records.
• Plans daily schedule to maximize physician productivity and coordinates with CH departments.
