Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Surgical Scheduler for its Hematology Oncology Specialists in Pennington, NJ. This full-time role focuses on coordinating surgical cases, handling patient scheduling, and ensuring accurate pre-certifications and documentation.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma and at least one year in a medical office or hospital setting, with strong communication and organizational skills to support physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• One year medical office or hospital setting experience.
• Ability to manage front desk duties and patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with OR and GI Endoscopy to schedule cases, negotiating date and time, and avoiding resource conflicts.
• Gathers complete patient and procedure information and schedules procedures and testing.
• Performs front desk duties: answering calls, scheduling appointments, checking in/out, collecting co-pays.
• Coordinates referrals and pre-certifications and ensures smooth patient flow through the office.
