ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP is seeking a full-time Surgical Coordinator for our Shrewsbury, NJ office. The role involves scheduling all surgeries, coordinating with hospitals, and guiding patients through pre- and post-operative steps. Epic experience is a plus.

You will verify insurance precertification, explain responsibilities to patients, and ensure all paperwork and requirements are completed prior to surgery. A fast-paced medical environment with comprehensive benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coordinating surgical schedules in a medical setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance and precertification processes.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all hospital and some in-office surgeries.
• Coordinate with hospitals for pre-operative requirements.
• Explain responsibilities to patients for pre/post-operative steps.
• Distribute surgical prep packets with required paperwork.
• Precertify procedures with insurance, verify eligibility and copays.
