Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and eClinical.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with physicians, staff, patients and others.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor all ASC procedures within provider templates.
• Ensure procedure orders align with payer medical necessity guidelines.
• Coordinate timing of procedures with pre-certification availability.
• Send pre-certification requests to Precert department when scheduling.
• Refer big cases to the Neuromodulation Coordinator as needed.
• Communicate scheduling conflicts with Front Office Manager and Regional Administrator.
• Call patients if procedures are rescheduled and address conflicts empathetically.
• Review provider treatment plans, payer requirements, and pre-procedure instructions with patients.
• Balance the schedule with the manager and address potential issues.
