Augusta Health in Virginia is seeking an OR Scheduler to coordinate and schedule surgical and procedural cases for Augusta Medical Group. The role serves as a liaison among providers, patients, and departments to ensure timely, compliant workflows.

Responsibilities include posting cases, verifying details, arranging PAT, handling documentation, and supporting daily OR scheduling. Prior healthcare scheduling experience is preferred.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-year Medical Office experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state employment requirements.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, schedule, and communicate surgical and procedural cases for AMG providers.
• Support payroll, staff scheduling, and general office duties as needed.
• Serve as liaison between providers, patients, hospital departments, and vendors.
• Obtain, verify, and file required documentation prior to procedures.
• Post cases into scheduling system and monitor daily schedule.
• Notify departments of schedule changes and add-ons.
