Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgical and office-based procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations for procedures.
• Maintain and manage physician schedules to optimize hospital and clinic coordination.
• Communicate with patients, provider offices, hospitals, and insurers to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system for scheduling activities and authorizations.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
