Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit, a 43-bed unit in Illinois. You will provide post-operative care for complex surgical patients, manage wounds and ostomies, and work closely with surgical residents and OMFS teams.

Commitment to safety and high-quality patient outcomes is essential. This role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants and generous relocation bonuses, with additional BSN incentives.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties for the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit
• Documents care and plans of care for patients
• Implements postoperative care for complex surgical patients and wound/ ostomy management
• Collaborates with surgical residents and OMFS teams to ensure patient safety and effective transitions
