Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit, a 43‑bed high‑acuity unit. You will perform postoperative nursing care, manage complex wounds and drains, and collaborate with surgical teams. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants with a 3-year commitment.

Relocation stipends apply for certain distances, and BSN bonuses are available. Illinois licensed RNs with BLS are expected to join a dedicated, educationally supported team in a Magnet-designated system.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois or eligible to practice in Illinois (IDFPR).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs post-operative nursing care for complex surgical patients.
• Maintains accurate documentation and coordinates care plans.
• Collaborates with surgical residents, OMFS and teams to ensure safe patient transitions.
