Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a dedicated scheduling professional to manage the complete flow of procedures and surgeries across office sites. You will assess office and patient needs to make informed scheduling decisions and communicate pre-operative requirements to patients.

Regular coordination of appointments, supplier orders, and preparation for procedures across clinics and facilities will be required to ensure smooth operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years experience in Healthcare with one year in a specialty office or procedure scheduling.
• Experience working in healthcare is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the entire process of scheduling procedures and surgery for the office(s) and is able to make sound decision based on the needs of the office and the patients.
• Advises patients of surgical and financial pre-operative requirements.
• Coordinates, schedules appointments, orders supplies needed for surgeries and procedures at the clinic, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.
