Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to manage the full workflow of procedure and surgery scheduling for the office and affiliated centers.

You will advise patients on pre-operative requirements, coordinate appointments, and ensure timely orders and supplies for surgeries at clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work across departments.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Healthcare with one year in a specialty office or procedure scheduling.
• Experience working in healthcare is Required.
• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the entire process of scheduling procedures and surgery for the office(s) and is able to make sound decision based on the needs of the office and the patients.
• Advises patients of surgical and financial pre-operative requirements.
• Coordinates, schedules appointments, orders supplies needed for surgeries and procedures at the clinic, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.
