Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires effective teamworking skills and the ability to meet deadlines and productivity standards.
• The position requires knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software and the ability to use computerized scheduling systems.
• Must possess the ability to maintain accurate statistical records, gather data, and produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates case times for elective procedures in a computerized scheduling system.
• Verifies physician privilege status prior to scheduling and maintains logs of current privilege status.
• Acquires authorization numbers, H&Ps, lab results and orders necessary medical records for procedures.
• Enters physician orders for lab, imaging and other services and compiles data for management reports.
• Builds customer relationships by visiting physician offices and addressing service concerns with the CEO and Business Development team.
