Job summary

AGAPE PAIN MANAGEMENT & ANESTHESIA is seeking a Procedure Scheduler to join our surgical team in Las Cruces, NM. You will collect, manage, and report scheduling information to support coordinated patient care and timely procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Gather information for surgery clearance (e.g., cardiac clearance, psychiatric evaluations).
  • Ensure medications are submitted prior to procedure day.

Job Summary

This is an important position that allows us to provide comprehensive and consistent patient care by coordinating health services. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and possesses excellent customer service and teamworking skills.

Responsibilities
  • Use cloud‑based scheduling software
  • Communicate with providers and surgery center staff regarding any updates or changes to their schedule
  • Communicate with patients to inform them of scheduling
  • Collect pertinent information that qualifies patient for surgery e.g. cardiac clearance, psychiatric evaluations, etc.
  • Ensure procedure medications were submitted prior to procedure day
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
