Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a healthcare operations leader to oversee day-to-day operations for a surgical practice, and to lead administrative and clinical support staff through hiring, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.

You will ensure staffing coverage, monitor performance metrics, partner with physicians on strategic initiatives and budget planning, oversee payroll and revenue cycle activities, ensure HIPAA compliance, and provide cross-coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills; exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, physician billing, and revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for a single-site or multi-site surgical practice.
• Lead and develop administrative and clinical staff through hiring, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure staffing coverage and coordinate solutions for staffing and operational challenges.
• Monitor practice performance metrics and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Partner with physicians and leadership to support strategic initiatives, operational goals, and budget planning.
• Oversee payroll processes, support revenue cycle activities, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA requirements, and mandatory training standards.
• Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing operational support and cross-coverage as needed.
