Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of physician practices across multiple locations. You will supervise front and back office staff, manage schedules, and ensure efficient workflows.

In partnership with leadership, you will develop the practice budget, monitor revenue cycle metrics, address patient concerns, and drive quality improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance. Some travel to various practice locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years’ experience in physician practice with at least 2 years in management.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, conducts interviews, hires, trains and performance evaluations.
• Develops the practice budget with leadership; monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports and addresses variances or complaints.
• Drives quality and performance improvement by tracking metrics and addressing deficiencies.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Requires frequent travel to various practice locations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

3-5 years of physician practice setting experience with 2 years in practice management

CPPM (Certified Physician Practice Manager) certification

Experience managing multiple sites
