Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist in Birmingham, AL, for a contract role supporting surgical services. Requirements include CST certification and 2+ years OR experience.

You will prepare ORs, assist during operations, ensure sterile technique, and help maintain compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified or experienced Surgical Technologist in OR.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and procedures.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Up-to-date immunizations and facility health compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Support OR team in anticipating needs and troubleshooting equipment or supply issues.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled and sent to appropriate departments.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with facility protocols.
• Participate in cleaning and restocking the OR post-procedure.
