Job summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist II/III for a full-time, direct-hire position with four 10-hour shifts and call coverage.

You will prepare instruments, maintain sterile technique, and assist surgeons during procedures while ensuring efficient workflow and patient safety.

Requires CST, BLS, and at least 2 years OR experience; relocation assistance up to $7,500, temporary housing, PTO, retirement plan, tuition assistance, and more are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience preferred.
• Ability to scrub proficiently in at least two surgical specialties.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow safety protocols.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist with operating room setup, turnover, and inventory management.
• Support training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students.
