Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the OR to join a large, high-activity department. The role involves preparing sterile instrumentation, assisting with intra-operative procedures, and ensuring sterile technique under RN supervision.

Per diem shifts available with full-time positions offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus and premium pay up to $5/hour. Requires TS-C/CST and NH registration, plus BLS certification. Competitive benefits and career growth offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program required.
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• Tech in Surgery (TS-C) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration required (unless NH license held).

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgical team with verification process.
• Assist intra-operative procedures and closure procedures.
• Review the surgical booking and match procedures to preference cards.
• Accurately use surgical preference cards for instrumentation selection.
• Inspect instruments for sterility, safety and function.
• Maintain and monitor sterile field throughout procedures.
