Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of operating room experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical First Assistant, Certified Surgical Assistant, or Surgical Assistant - Certified required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care in the assigned patients.
• Clamps, ties, sutures, or coagulates as directed in the surgical field.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
