Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPN for the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit, offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. You will support RN-led care, handle meds, IV piggybacks, and care for surgical patients in a high-acuity unit.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Passes all medications, hangs IV piggybacks and fluids, excluding IV Push meds.
• Charts assessments on assigned patients; charts on care plans and coordinates with RN for initial assessments and new care plans.
